| AUMA-USA’s Health and Wellness committee hosted their first Safety, Health & Wellness Fair on February 15, 2017. The event took place at AUMA-USA’s headquarters near Pittsburgh, PA. The Health and Wellness committee arranged to have two registered nurses administer a Fingerstick Clinic. Those employees who participated in the Fingerstick clinic fasted for 12 hours in order to learn their lipid, glucose and cholesterol numbers. Results were provided immediately. The Safety, Health & Wellness Fair started at 1:00pm, following the Fingerstick Clinic. Vendors educated AUMA employees about their products and services and supplied raffle items. For attending the Safety, Health & Wellness Fair, AUMA staff received 10 raffle tickets to submit for the Chinese Auction. For employees who donated non-perishable food items to AUMA’s winter food drive, those individuals earned five additional tickets for the Chinese Auction. The fair concluded at 4:00pm. Raffle winners were drawn, and prizes awarded, the next day. The Safety, Health & Wellness Fair was a big hit- thank you to everyone who attended. Moreover, a huge thanks to the committee for organizing and executing such a fun and successful event. Congratulations to all of the winners and good health to all!
